Lucian Vâlsan:
”If Gramsci would be alive today, he would be in awe at how effective this system is at creating a fake civil society formed almost exclusively of State activists that maintain cultural hegemony. Even Gramsci wasn’t that optimistic in his vision!
Because, you see, these „non-reimbursable grants” do come with strings attached. And those strings are almost exclusively ideological.
If it’s not „promoting social inclusion” (Which is codeword for as few white men as possible) – then it’s some carbon global warming nonsense. If it’s not that – then it’s about counting how many vaginas you have on your fishing boat. If it’s not that, then it’s some combating homophobia nonsense – as if poor peasants building a farm in rural Lithuania give two hoots about who’s sleeping with whom while milking the cow.
And it goes on and on and on.
And most charities are in some way, shape or form connected to this monstrous far-Left apparatus that is the European Union.
The main competitor in grants for the European Union is George Soros – whose grants have requirements that go even further to the Left than Brussels would demand.
So, basically, if you’re a non-Leftist charity in Europe – you’re at an inherent disadvantage because your leftist competitors will almost always be better funded than you are. After all, the people who pay most of the taxes are right-wingers – and while right-wingers are the most likely to give to charity, under such a tremendous tax burden their generosity is severely curbed anyway.
And it gets worse…”
