În așteptarea unui om bun, capabil și care să iubească România, măcar un candidat să avem așa, ne uităm la norocul american Donald Trump. Și sperăm să nu ne înecăm în oceanul stîngist european. Am mai fost acolo, noi știm cel mai bine despre ce este vorba, oricît ar vrea unul și altul să ne spună că acum nu va mai fi la fel.
Discursul de mai jos a fost rostit ieri, la sărbătorirea celor 243 de ani care au trecut de cînd Părinții Fondatori au dat lumii o republică:SUA. Pămîntul libertății, păstrat așa indiferent de vicisitudinile vieții, este, acum, singura speranță și pentru noi. Dacă SUA nu ar fi existat, nici libertate nu ar fi fost! Fără oameni crescuți cu simțul datoriei și cu iubire de Dumnezeu, familie și țară, nu este posibil nimic.
Flancat de reprezentanții militari americani ai diferitelor arme, lîngă Memorialul Lincoln, Trump a oferit o lecție de istorie și patriotism. Lecție de la care conducătorii europeni nu au ce învăța, ei l-au celebrat anul trecut pe Marx (oroare).

The ideals and values of the American Revolution gave birth to a just and virtuous republic that has both fostered and been sustained by a people animated by courage, faith, and love. Countless contributions from statesmen, businessmen, philanthropists, educators, and other Americans from coast to coast have shaped our communities and inspired generation after generation to preserve and advance liberty, equality, and the American dream.
In 1815, reflecting on the character of America, Thomas Jefferson wrote to his friend—and hero of the Revolutionary War—Major General Marquis de Lafayette: “The cement of this union is in the heart blood of every American.” These words are still true today, as the unmatched patriotism of Americans continues to bind us as a Nation. Looking to the future, we resolve to remain steadfast in our commitment to safeguarding liberty for ourselves and future Americans.
