La Congresul CDU, desfășurat la începutul săptămînii, Angela Merkel și-a susținut ideea exprimată cu cinci ani în urmă, cînd declara că multiculturalismul e mort. Cum se împacă aceasta cu cei aproape un milion de migranți pătrunși pe teritoriul european numai anul acesta, așteptați cu brațele deschise de doamna cancelar, ne lămurește Paul Dragoș Aligică:
Intre timp, asa cum stiti, dupa ce a luat titlul de Om al Anului si a introdus cenzura retelelor sociale, doamna Merkel a dat-o la intors. Multiculturalismul e un esec, a anuntat dumneaei. Migrantii trebuie sa se integreze, asimileze culturii locale etc etc etc. Sau ceva pe acolo. Mutantis mutandis asta imi aminteste de marele antemergator. Chemat sa arbitreze intre cele doua mari teorii ale geostiintei naziste (teoria lunilor multiple – gheata si foc – a lui Horbiger si cea a pamantului concav a lui Bender – nu e legenda, nu e gluma, e reala!), Fuhrerul a declarat in spirit pluralist si marinimos-progresist avant la letttre: „N-avem (national socialistii, nota mea) deloc nevoie de o conceptie coerenta asupra lumii. Pot sa aiba dreptate si unul si celalalt…”
Ce-ar mai fi de adăugat? A, că în 1938, Time Magazine a acordat titlul de ”Personalitate a Anului” antemergătorului. Da, ”Adolf Hitler, Man of the Year, 1938”.

He had torn the Treaty of Versailles to shreds. He had rearmed Germany to the teeth— or as close to the teeth as he was able. He had stolen Austria before the eyes of a horrified and apparently impotent world.
All these events were shocking to nations which had defeated Germany on the battlefield only 20 years before, but nothing so terrified the world as the ruthless, methodical, Nazi-directed events which during late summer and early autumn threatened a world war over Czechoslovakia. When without loss of blood he reduced Czechoslovakia to a German puppet state, forced a drastic revision of Europe’s defensive alliances, and won a free hand for himself in Eastern Europe by getting a „hands-off” promise from powerful Britain (and later France), Adolf Hitler without doubt became 1938’s Man of the Year.
Cum laureatul poate fi cel mai influent om al anului în bine sau în rău, de data asta doamna cancelar a marcat după stăruința conformă îndemnului ”hai cu egalareaaa!”.
Reuters: ”ROUGH CUT – SUBTITLED (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Chancellor Angela Merkel told a congress of her conservative Christians Democrats (CDU) on Monday (December 14) that multiculturalism in Germany remained a „lie.” Her comments came as part of a 70-minute long speech in the southwestern city of Karlsruhe, dominated by Europe’s refugee crisis and the influx of migrants to Germany. „Those fleeing from war and persecution will find protection with us,” Merkel said. „Those who found refuge and protection with us must obey our laws, values and traditions and in order to understand us, they must learn the German language.” Merkel said it was all about „integration”. „All this is the exact opposite of multiculti (multiculturalism). It remains true that multiculturalism leads to parallel societies and multiculturalism therefore remains a lie.” More than five years ago, Merkel told a meeting of young members of her CDU that „this (multicultural) approach has failed, utterly failed.” In October 2010, Merkel said that allowing people of different cultural backgrounds to live side by side without integrating had not worked in a country that is home to some four million Muslims.”
